Students can borrow up to 900.000/month

The Prime Minister has decided to adjust the level of student loan. Accordingly, on 20th November 2010, the maximum loan for each student is 900,000 VND / month, 40,000 VND more than the current one.

Students are doing procedure for loan (source from Internet)     This is the 3rd consecutive year; the Government implements preferential credit policies for students all over the country. As a result, by September 2010, over 1.9 million students of the 1.7 million households having difficulties have borrowed 24,000 billion loans under the program.     It is known that since the implementation (September 2007 to December 2009), the State has allocated 18,000 billion for the credit program for students, according to the Decision 157/QD-TTg dated on September 27th 2010. Social Policy Bank (implementing agency for lending students) has lent over 17,400 billion VND. Student loan has been being done by the method of lending to household.
