Teacher is the most important factor to decide the stature of education

Although science and technology is more and more growing, education is also strengthening equipped with modern and advanced equipments, teachers are still the most decisive factor to the magnitude of the school and the Education sector.

Minister Pham Vu Luan awarded certificates to People’ Teachers     Pham Vu Luan, Minister of Education and Training confirmed in celebration of 28 years of "Vietnamese Teacher’s day" and meeting with representatives of People's Teachers, Meritorious Teachers awarded by the State in the Second XI in 2010 held this morning (18/11).     Attending at  the ceremony were Mr Nguyen Van Ngang - Vice Chairman of Vietnam General Confederation of Labour,  Nguyen Thi Nghia - Deputy Minister of Education and Training, president of trade union of Education and Traning Vietnam Tran Cong Phong with 250 People's Teachers, Meritorious Teachers, representing to the People's Teachers, Meritorious Teachers awarded in 2010.     At the ceremony, the participants reviewed the glorious tradition of education as well as a number of important historical marks of Vietnamese Teachers' Day – November, 20th.     In 1958, Teacher’s Day was first held in the northern region and the following years and in the liberated areas in the south. On September 28th, 1982, the Council of Ministers, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Government has decided to take the date of November, 20th annual to be Vietnamese Teacher’s Day. This is an opportunity for local authorities and unions to consider the activities of teachers in local units; review work have done and works out what to continue in order to motivate teachers to promote the fine tradition of Vietnam's teacher training qualifications, competence, to be an example for students to follow. Vietnamese Teachers' Day is an opportunity for teachers to be active and abundant, essential to raise awareness about honor and responsibility of the teachers... Minister Pham Vu Luan awarded certificates to People’ Teachers      Last 65 years, generations of Vietnamese teachers have been promoting the tradition of patriotism, job loving , closely associated with other classes of people, kindness, selflessness, dedication to the Education and Training ... through response and successful implementation of the patriotic movement and the campaign, Vietnamese teachers has made great contribution in developing the Education and Training, improving people's knowledge, personnel training, detection and fostering talents for the country, contributing significantly to the victory of the wars and the cause of reform.     Vietnam teachers from just a few thousand primary school teachers and secondary school in August after the Revolution, the 2009-2010 school years, there are 1,088,081 teachers in the national education system. In particular, there are 195.852 teachers in preschool, 804,183 teachers in general school, 17.488 professional secondary teachers and 70.558 teachers in universities, colleges with 277 Professors, 1.925 associated professors, 7.104 Drs, 26.715 MAs.     In recent years, the movement of patriotic emulation and extensive campaign developed in whole Education and Training. School facilities, classrooms, public service teachers’ house, educational equipment, laboratories, libraries continue to be invested more and more solid and modern. Training and retraining the contingent of teachers and educational administrators is in sufficient of quantity, reasonable, synchronous in structure, quality of political, ethical, professional qualifications more and higher. Quality education and training continue to be enhancing, contributing significantly to the cause of reform, economic development - social, maintaining national security of the country. These achievements had been recorded by Ho Chi Minh Medal award Second times, the Movement awarded for Education and Training on the last November, 20th.     Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Trade Union of Vietnamese Education Tran Cong Phong  has congratulated People's Teachers and Meritorious Teachers who had just been awarded in 2010, and requested teachers continue to thoroughly understand and implement best political tasks in the sector for new stage,  boosting patriotic emulation movements and large movements in promoting internal strength of the construction of teachers and administrators with the task level the same time, take care life and spiritual for teachers, especially teachers who have been struggling in the flood zone central, regional and remote areas, marine Islands and the difficult economic.. Souvenir photograph of Delegates     Pham Vu Luan, At the ceremony, the Minister of Education and Training congratulated the teachers who always devoted to their jobs and contributed to the cultivation of the nation, He also asserted that the hospitality traditional of our people from past to present, as well as educational achievements Vietnam has made great contributions to the class teachers used their knowledge to forge.     Although science and technology is developing more and more, the Education is also strengthening equipped with modern and advanced equipment, the teacher is still the most important factor to decide the stature of the schools in particular and education in general.     Ministers hope that, despite of many difficulties, the teachers had kept their talent and virtue, became the shining example for all generation of students, continue to contribute in building up a common policy for education development, contributing to training, developing and improving the quality of human resources, especially high-quality human resources.
